Individuals who are looking to upgrade their licenses can get several exciting job opportunities by obtaining a class 3 license. Sometimes companies, volunteer organizations or church groups upgrade licenses to class 4 when they need a driver for a bus or any special vehicle that they own.

Employees and volunteers whose licenses are upgraded increase their contribution to the organisation for which they work. Other people who want to upgrade their licenses are those who want to become paramedics as they may need to drive the ambulance. Some other people who seek class 4 licenses are those who are looking forward to becoming limousine or taxi drivers.

PRE-REQUISITES

  • Should be 19 years old or above.
  • Full privilege B.C class 5 driver's license or equivalent outside the province.
  • Class 4 learner permit that is still valid.

SCHEDULE

We offer flexible scheduling and one-on-one training to assist students who are at different skill levels. Our training is tailor-made for our students- when you enrol, you will receive your personalized schedule.

CLASS 4 UNRESTRICTED

With a class 4 unrestricted driver's license, you are allowed to drive the following vehicles:

  • Buses with a maximum capacity of 25 seats (including school bus drivers, special buses and vehicles for transporting persons with disabilities).
  • All Class 5 motor vehicles or combinations of vehicles
  • Taxi
  • Limousine
  • Ambulance

Pricing

Class 4 Unrestricted Program

  • Includes 4 hours of training on aspects of Class 4 driving, including defensive driving, hazard avoidance, backup techniques, full vehicle pre-driving inspection and road testing.
  • $579* tax-free and deductible for professional training.

CLASS 4 RESTRICTED

With a Class 4 restricted license, you can drive, Taxis, limousines, ambulances, shuttles and vehicles that can carry up to 10 passengers (including the driver). Also, you will need to acquire a class 4 restricted license to drive vehicles of companies such as UBER and LYFT, which have started giving their services in British Columbia.

ucandrive’s class-restricted program includes everything from a one-on-one road trip to a pre-trip inspection, which we provide you on your or our passenger vehicle. We will assist you in learning all the necessary skills to pass the ICBC Class 4 Restricted Road Test.

  • On-Road Training for 2- hours and Pre-Travel Inspection

Class 4 Restricted Road Test Preparation and Test Road Rental

Our vehicle will be available during your ICBC class 4 unrestricted road test. We will provide you with a warm-up lesson before the ICBC road test to make you feel confident during the exam. You must have completed class 4 training with ucandrive to enrol in this program.

Please note: The above prices do not include ICBC road tests and medical fees. We accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, Personal Cheques and Interac.
